Tom Scanlan is a dark fiction writer who lives outside of Boston and works full-time as a prison guard.

He received a degree in Creative Writing from Emerson College in 2012. Part of him expected the world to end back then (thanks Mayan calendar!), but after three years when no such thing happened, he left the bunker and started publishing short fiction and working on novels.

His influences include Clive Barker, Edgar Allan Poe, Philip K. Dick, and Cormac McCarthy.

The best way to stay in touch with him is through email or by liking the Facebook page in the right sidebar.
